FBM201D is a dedicated voltage acquisition analog input module of Foxboro Compact 200 Series I/O subsystem, differentiated from FBM201 (0~20mA current), FBM201b (mV), FBM201c (0~5V), specially developed for industrial 0~10VDC voltage signal measurement scenarios, widely used in petrochemical, power and offshore platform DCS systems for potentiometer displacement, external divider pressure, self-powered voltage transmitter signal collection.
8 fully independent channels adopt full channel-to-channel & channel-ground galvanic isolation to eliminate cross-talk interference between measuring loops caused by ground potential difference. Input range fixed 0~10.4VDC, compatible with HART superimposed digital signals without extra signal conditioning equipment, can read both analog voltage value and HART instrument parameter data.
Adopts high-resolution sigma-delta conversion circuit, stable measurement accuracy under wide ambient temperature fluctuation; software configurable integration time to filter 50/60Hz power frequency electromagnetic noise, effectively suppress motor, inverter and power cabinet interference signals. Built-in rate-of-change alarm logic, automatically triggers interlock alarm when voltage rises/falls beyond the set rate to avoid equipment overtravel hidden danger.
Full-channel real-time self-diagnosis function continuously detects sensor open circuit, short circuit and voltage out-of-range faults, fault codes uploaded to DCS HMI synchronously with front panel LED visual alarm, realizing rapid on-site fault positioning without portable measuring instruments. Each channel is equipped with multi-stage surge suppression circuit to prevent batch module burnout caused by miswiring short-circuit.
Supports paired master-tracker hot redundant architecture: two FBM201D share one voltage TA terminal base via redundant adapter, synchronous sampling operation; millisecond-level seamless switchover without voltage signal fluctuation when main module fails, eliminating single-point failure risk of critical voltage measuring loops such as valve displacement, reactor level and compressor pressure.
Communicates with upper FCM gateway via dual redundant 2Mbps HDLC fieldbus, single-width compact mechanical structure saves cabinet layout space, matched with AD916CC multi-layer shielded cable for centralized cabinet marshalling wiring. Conforms to ISA S71.04 Class G3 harsh environment standard, resistant to dust, high humidity and weak chemical volatile gas; optional IPC-CC-830 anti-corrosion coating for offshore salt-fog corrosive control rooms.
